Bank Robbery!

The Brookfield Police Department has released surveillance photos to us.

If you have any information regarding Wednesday's bank robbery, you are asked to call the nearest law enforcement agency or dial 911.

The getaway vehicle has been found abondoned south of Brookfield in Linn County. Authorities believe the suspect may be on in the southern part of Linn County. He did display a weapon at the bank and left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.

Law enforcement officials in north central Missouri are on the lookout for a suspect in connection with a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday morning in Brookfield, Mo.

The robbery occurred at about 11 a.m. at the Brookfield branch of Preferred Bank. Authorities tell KTVO they are looking for a white male approximately 25 years of age, six feet tall, wearing Carhartt coveralls. 

The suspect is driving either a black Chevy S-10 pickup with a gray stripe, or a 1994 navy blue half ton pickup with a gray stripe. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen headed south on Highway 11, south of Brookfield.
