Two Missouri women facing federal charges in the murder of a northeast Missouri man now know when they will stand trial.

Kay Young, 56, of Novinger Missouri, and her friend, Katherine Mock, 57, of Cassville, Missouri, are scheduled to go on trial beginning September 19th in federal court in Saint Louis.

Both are charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of murder for hire.

The charges stem from the 2006 shooting death of young's husband, Melvin "Beau" Griesbauer, of Novinger.

The alleged crime occurred at the Young-Griesbauer residence on Penny Royal Road just outside Novinger.

According to the 39-page federal indictment, Griesbauer had been shot in the face with a rifle.  Young and Mock remain in federal custody awaiting their trial.
