Matthew and Jamie Morea are listed in critical condition at University Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral arrangements for 18-month-old Lena Techau are pending at Hutton-McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.

We have now confirmed the names of those involved in the fire. The fatality is identified as 18 month old Lena Rose Techau, the injured were her parents. Mathew Morea, 20 and Jamie Morea, 25. We are continuing to gather information.

Updated 11:10am: We received this release from the Macon Fire Department a few moments ago:

On 04/08/2011 at approximately 1:48 am, The Macon Police and Fire Departments were dispatched by Macon County E-911 to structure fire at 702 N Rubey Street in Macon.  The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Macon Fire Department, Macon Police Department and Division of Fire Safety.  As a result of the fire, one fatality and other injuries were reported. The Macon County Ambulance assisted at the scene.  Fire Chief Ross Dutton states that the 6-unit apartment building received extensive damage, and there were other families displaced by the fire. The American Red Cross is providing assistance to the families.

KTVO has now confirmed there has been a fatality in the apartment building fire in Macon this morning. We are continuing to gather information on this developing story.

A fire broke out earlier this morning at an apartment complex in Macon. Several Families affected by the blaze.

We have also received reports of a fatality as a result of the fire; however we have been unable to get confirmation from any law enforcement agency. Macon firefighters remain on the scene.

This is a developing story; KTVO’s Ela Soroka is headed to the scene.

The North Central Missouri Chapter of the Red Cross is assisting those families affected by the fire.
