Traffic stop turns to drug bust

KIRKSVILLE, MO --  

A Kirksville woman is behind bars on drug charges.
   
Jamae Reiss, 28, was pulled over by an Adair County Sheriff's Deputy for a traffic stop.
    
According to court papers, the deputy saw two shiny objects thrown out of the passenger side window.
    
After a search of the vehicle, authorities allegedly found illegal substances and paraphernalia.
    
Reiss is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less, unlawfull use of drug paraphernalia, and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana.
    
Facing the same charges is Brent Holdren, 22, of Baring, Missouri.
    
Holdren was a passenger in the vehicle.
    
Both Reiss and Holdren are being held in the Adair County Jail under $25,000 cash only bond.
