KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- As expected Thursday morning in a hearing in an Adair County courtroom, Knox County Associate Circuit Judge William Alberty dismissed four of the petitions for protection filed again Jeanne Brawner.

Brawner is the wife of Kirksville school board member Jeff Brawner.

She is accused of making threatening comments against two coaches at a recent Kirksville High School football game.

Judge Alberty dismissed the petitions as requested by four of the six school district employees who had filed for the orders of protection earlier this month.

The petitions filed by Activities Director Andy Jackson and football coach Chris Daniels were agreed to by both the petitioners and Mrs. Brawner.

Brawner has a court appearance on her criminal charge set for next week. She is charged with one misdemeanor count of disturbing the peace.

Judge Alberty presided over the order of protection hearings after Adair County Associate Judge Kristie Swaim recused herself from the case.
