MACON, MO. -- Two people are facing felony drug charges after what started as a burglary investigation.

The Macon Police Department told KTVO officers were called to a report of a break-in at a home in the 400 block of Goggin Street.

Further investigation led officers to the residence of a Macon man, where a large amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were discovered.

Arrested was Lannis McAlpin, 26.

He's charged with one count of burglary and two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance.

McAlpin is being held in the Macon County Jail on $70,000 cash only bond.

Also arrested was Alexis Hohman, 20, also of Macon.

She's charged with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance.

During Tuesday afternoon's court appearance, Hohman was released on her own recognizance.
