KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI -- News Release from the SB 40
The Adair County Senate Bill 40 Developmental Disabilities Board is pleased to announce it will begin providing Targeted Case Management services for persons with developmental disabilities in Adair, Sullivan, Putnam, Schuyler and Scotland Counties on September 1, 2010. Targeted Case Management (TCM) involves linking people to supports and resources to enhance quality of life, as well as monitoring services to ensure and improve quality. Persons currently receiving TCM through the Kirksville Regional Office will begin transitioning to the SB40 service coordinators on September 1. Transition of all persons residing in the five counties should be completed by November 30. Public hearings are scheduled for each area to present the reasons and the process for the change, and to answer any questions. The times and locations for the public hearings are as follows:
Adair County – Monday, August 2, 5:30 PM at the Adair County SB40/PACT Center, 1107 Country Club Drive, Kirksville (behind the Super 8 Motel)
Putnam County – Tuesday, August 3, 5:30 PM at Putnam Co Hospital, 1926 Oak St., Unionville
Scotland & Schuyler Counties – Thursday, August 5, 5:30 PM at Scotland County Hospital, Sigler Ave, Memphis, MO.
Sullivan County – Monday, August 9, 5:30 PM at High Hope, 611 W. 3rd Street, Milan.
