EDINA, MO. -- Various law enforcement agencies were called to a Heartland school Tuesday.
The incident at Knox County High School in Edina happened early Tuesday afternoon.
A viewer called and told us she had heard that Principal Steve Ramer had been stabbed in the hand with a pencil.
We called Knox County Schools Superintendent DJ Leverton at home Tuesday night to ask him what really happened.
He told KTVO that was not true. He said no one was injured during the incident.
Leverton would only say that it involved a high school student, and that student was turned over to law enforcement officials.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the incident.
Both agencies referred us to school administrators to find out what happened.
