KIRKSVILLE, MO -- The Adair County Ambulance District (ACAD) met Thursday night for a regular business meeting.

The list for discussion included a lease agreement for a new air evac facility, which a-cad approved.  The board also discussed an advanced vehicle locator system that would allow better tracking of ambulances.

ACAD chairperson Bill Crnic says tonight's meeting was business as usual.

"It was a pretty basic meeting, I mean, there's nothing really important.  Our new administrator is getting a hold of things pretty well and moving forward and getting those completed and off the list of things to be done,” said Crnic.

Crnic also said nothing substantial has developed in ACAD’s pending lawsuit with the City of Kirksville.

Wait, they had an ambulance district meeting and nobody got fired? Are they naming another new director soon?

It is a nice change for the ambulance district to focus on.....um,,,,---- transporting patients. Must have some level headed board members now????????

Your kidding right?

This is a joke right? Your spending money on a system to keep track of 4 ambulances?
