Captain John W. Elliott, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces the
transfers of four troopers effective October 1, 2009.
Trooper Kyle Easley will transfer from Troop C, Zone 7, Warren County, to
Troop B, Zone 10, Monroe and Randolph counties. He is a native of La Plata,
Missouri, and a graduate of La Plata High School. Trooper Easley holds a
bachelor's degree in agriculture science from Northwest Missouri State
University in Maryville, Missouri, and an associate's degree from Mineral
Area Community College in Farmington, Missouri. He was appointed to the
Patrol on January 8, 2006, and after graduating from the Patrol Academy was
assigned to Troop C, Warren County. He is married to Miranda (Travis)
Easley.
Trooper Cary Porter will transfer from Troop B, Zone 11, Monroe and Randolph
counties, to Zone 5, Adair and Schuyler counties. He is a native of Warsaw,
Illinois, and a graduate of Warsaw Senior High School. Prior to his
appointment to the Patrol he worked at an agricultural business. He was
appointed to the Patrol on January 7, 2007, and after graduating from the
Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop B, Zone 11, Monroe and Randolph
counties. He is married to Tonya (Miller) Porter and they have three
children: Kelsey, 13; Jessica, 11; and Nicholas, 9.
Trooper Chad Primm will transfer from Troop H, Zone 7, Clinton and Caldwell
counties, to Troop B, Zone 11, Monroe and Randolph counties. He is a native
of Macon, Missouri, and a graduate of Macon Co. R-1 High School. Trooper
Primm holds a law enforcement certificate from Moberly Area Community
College in Moberly, Missouri, and prior to his appointment to the Patrol
served as a Macon, Missouri, city police officer for over eight years. He
was appointed to the Patrol on January 8, 2006, and after graduating from
the Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop H, Zone 7, Clinton and Caldwell
counties. He is married to Deana (Shatzer) Primm and they have three
children: Jacob, 10; Alex, 9; and Conner, 1.
Trooper Bradley Ritter will transfer from Troop H, Zone 2, Nodaway and Worth
counties, to Troop B, Zone 9, Marion and Ralls counties. He is a native of
Monroe City, Missouri, and a graduate of Monroe City High School. He holds
a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Culver-Stockton College in
Canton, Missouri, and prior to his appointment to the Patrol he served as a
recreation officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections. He was
appointed to the Patrol on January 7, 2007, and after graduating from the
Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop H, Zone 2, Nodaway and Worth counties.
He is married to Deidre (Keithley) Ritter and they have one son: Hagan, 20
months.
