KNOX COUNTY, MO --  

A Heartland teenager was seriously injured in a weekend traffic crash in Knox County.
    
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brandon Baird, 16, of Knox City was southbound on route T, one mile east of Edina when his vehicle went off the road Saturday night. Baird's vehicle flipped over and he was thrown from the car. He was air lifted to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois for treatment.
    
A passenger in the vehicle, Nicolas Morales, 16, of Edina, suffered minor injuries in the crash.
