QUEEN CITY, MO. -- Fire broke out at a Queen City, Mo., home just before 8 p.m. Saturday night.

The home at the corner of First St. and Washington St. was completely engulfed when firefighters arrived. 

Assistant Fire Chief Cark Snider telsl KTVO the house was unoccupied and in the process of being torn down. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze, and none of the surrounding homes were damanged. 

Snider says fire officials don't know what caused the blaze. He says if there will be an investigation it will be handled by the Schuyler County Sheriff's Department.  We contacted the sheriff's department Sunday, but no one was available for comment.

good ridence to the garabge,the old house needed burnt a long time ago.
