CINCINNATI, IOWA -- 66 year-old Jackie Paul Glascock was arrested by the Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday morning for allegedly killing his wife.
Police say Glascock murdered his wife, 56 year-old Doretta Glascock, at a rural house in Cincinnati, Iowa on July 12th.
Jackie Paul Glascock has been in the hospital since then and was just released on Thursday. That’s when police made their arrest.
Police say he shot himself and was suffering from life threatening wounds when they found him. He wife was found dead.
Police say the couple has a history of domestic violence.
Glascock is in the Appanoose County Jail under a $1,000,000 cash only bond.
He is charged with first degree murder.
