BELOIT, WIS. (AP) -- Ken Hendricks, a roofing company billionaire, has died after falling through his roof at his home in
Rock, Wisconsin.
The Rock County Sheriff's Department says he was checking on construction on his roof last night and fell through. He died this
morning.
Hendricks was the founder, chairman and CEO of ABC Supply. The roofing company does about 3 billion dollars in business a year.
Earlier this year, Hendricks announced plans to build a wind turbine tower plant in Keokuk, Iowa, and hire 350 people.
Keokuk Mayor Dave Gudgel says news of his friend's death is shocking. He says he doesn't know how Hendrick's death will affect
the project.
