A teenager is killed in a car versus tractor-trailer crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Chelsea Bennet of Gorin was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday afternooon on Highway 136 about one mile south of Arbela in Scotland County.

Bennet was a passenger in a car driven by 23 year old Ricky Miller, also of Gorin. The highway patrol says Miller failed to stop at the intersection and struck the side of the truck, driven by 36 year old Barry Winkleman of Kirksville.

Miller and a second passenger, 16-year-old Star Miller, also of Gorin, were both flown to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.

Ricky Miller is listed in critical condition in the intensive care unit, while Star Miller is listed in good condition.

Ricky Miller was charged with failure to yield.
