A Heartland church was celebrating the Christmas season in their Sunday service.

FREMONT, IOWA -- The First Baptist Church of Fremont, Iowa hosted the McKay Family, a group of five youngsters who sing and play various instruments, along with their parents.
The Christmas-themed concert was followed by a potluck dinner at the church.
Otto and Ruth Hayes are the co-pastors of First Baptist and have been married for 52 years.
"Well we are doing our best to focus on Jesus Christ and what he has done for us, picked us up out of the muddy pit of sin. And we are doing what we can to focus on that," Pastor Otto said. "We cordially invite the whole town of Fremont and community areas to come on down!"
"And worship God with us," Pastor Ruth said.
A children and youth event called "Christmas Legends," is scheduled at the First Baptist Church in Fremont next Sunday at 10:30 A.M.
