PURDIN, MO. -- A northeast Missouri man was injured in an early morning traffic crash in Linn County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 39-year-old Brian Montgomery of Purdin, Mo., was seriously injured in the crash just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning. Montgomery was southbound on Highway 5 in Purdin, Mo., when he crossed the center line and went off the road. Authorities say the vehicle hit the embankment and went airborne.
Montgomery was thrown from the vehicle. He was life-flighted to University Hospital in Columbia, Mo., where he's listed in critical condition.
