EDINA, MO -- Medicare Part D can be a confusing process to get help paying for prescription drugs; but in Edina, some folks got some help in the process.
CLAIM, a not-for-profit service, helped people eligible for Medicare file their claims online at Knox County High School.
The event was a dual effort between claim and representative Brian Munzlinger.
Volunteers from CLAIM, and the Knox County FBLA program stepped people through the filing process.
“The website we're using tonight is the Medicare website. It is a very easy to navigate website, just kind of, very intuitive, but sometimes it helps to have another pair of eyes to help you through it,” said program director Carol Eahan.
CLAIM will put on a similar event in Kahoka, MO tThursday night from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
CLAIM also helps people file over the phone. To find out more about the service visit their website at www.missouriclaim.org or call 1-800-390-3330.
