KIRKSVILLE, MO --
A local student is honored with a prestigious national degree.
Ashley Ann May is the daughter of Rodney and Debbie May of Greentop, Missouri, and is currently a student at Indian Hills Community College in Centerville, Iowa.
She received the American FFA Degree at the 82nd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, which is the highest degree awarded by the National FFA Organization. Less than one in 154 FFA members advance through local and state degree programs to earn the national degree.
May earned the honor with her leadership and outstanding achievements in agricultural business, production, processing, and service programs.
