NOVINGER, MO --
An attempt by Adair County Sheriff's Deputies to make a parole violation arrest in Novinger Tuesday, ended with the arrests of two people on drug charges.
According to information obtained by KTVO, deputies had reason to believe that Charles Woods, 46, was at a residence on Rombauer Street in Novinger. When deputies entered the residence, they smelled what they believed was the odor of marijuana, then saw a white male running out the back door of the house. The other two occupants of the home were arrested and taken into custody, and have now been officially charged.
Nettie Younger, 53, and Tysen Martin, 26, have each been charged with Attempt to Manufacture Methamphetamine, a class B felony. Both Younger and Martin are being held in the Adair County Jail under $75,000 cash only bond.
Charles Woods remains at large at this time. Authorities say if you have any knowledge of his whereabouts, you're asked to call the Adair County Sheriff's Office at 660-665-4600, or your local law enforcement agency.
