just stop

Posted by Stop wait and see, Missouri - Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 2:29 p.m.

I think everyone just needs to stop and think about what you are typing or thinking in your head. Maybe just maybe you should just wait till they all go to court and the judge makes his decision before you go accusing someone of something. I mean come on are you five. Stop commenting on what other people have to say. Maybe all four or five or however many kids there are are all innocent. I'm sure that if you wait, you will find out. I'm praying for all the familys. And if they did do it, then it needs to be the judges decision on what he does with the kids. Your right religion has nothing to do with if they are innocent or not.

Couple of things real quick, I'm not really into the aruging on the internet thing, but did want to give a quick response. JUDY - You said to act like a grown up...how "grown up" is it to say "if you have something to say then say it to my face"? Ooohhh are you going to beat me up, LOL! Secondly, for those of you who keep saying he is so scared in his mugshot, take another look. It doesn't look like a scared kid to me. He looks smug and disrespectful. As for the church thing, remember pastors and ministers also molest so church doesn't have a leg to stand on!

Who made you Judge & Jury Mo Flock,

Posted by Bob Beckham, CA. - Sunday, September 06, 2009 at 5:53 p.m.

Why do you say "The Guilty Parties" when no one has had their day in court Mo Flock? The last time I checked We The People Of The United States have constitutional rights one being innocent until proven guilty. So at this time let us not accept innocent or guilty, let the judicial system decide.

Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgement you make, you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.

Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgement you make, you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. How do you have the nerve to judge someone that you have no idea his history. I think we have all done things in our past that we are not proud of. If you are going to print something you need to have the nerve to Print your name; YOU ARE ALL COWARDS. And to the one who said all you have to do is blog all day; what the heck do you think you were doing STUPID. Here we have a young man screaming for help; “But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.God looks at all sin equal, so I will pray for you as well as everyone involved.“When we seek to discover the best in others,
we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.”

If anyone has anything to say about my nephew you need to say it to my face. I still don't know why everyone is hiding their identities. If you have something to say and can stand beside it be a grown up and use your name.

I appreciate comments

I'm glad the kids are caught and won't be torching any more stolen property.
I value the opportunity to express my feelings and opinions. I enjoy reading the comments of others as well. Even if some are judgemental or whiney. There are for the most part moderate honest expressions abt. the topic. Thanks Lin

This is everybody's business who pays taxes

Sorry Amanda, but when people break the law and the criminal system becomes involved it is my "freaking" business when my tax dollars have to pay for your brother's prosecution and incarceration costs.

Idiots

Why are you wasting your time posting such nice words about the guilty parties? I guess it strikes me as comical! First, you painting him as good christian boy. Ever think that maybe its a Jeckyl and Mr. Hide? Hmm? Its funny you as his Aunt, why would you want to put your name out on the internet? In this crazy world I think I would be a little scared. Second, they have to have evidence to hold him. Maybe you should open your eyes and accept what your nephew has done. Stop living in denial and you will make everyones life easier. Or maybe that you have nothing else in your life but to sit on a blog site and try to confess the guilty parties innocence? But, look lady get your head out of where you sit at and start accepting the challenges that are ahead for this young man. I will continue to pray for your family. Good luck, even though the road looks dim.

I wish they would just take this comment crap off the site. It is nothing but a place for ppl to bad mouth.
To Stanleys family, being religous don't mean ppl don't make mistakes or commit crimes. I am not saying Stanly is guilty and I wish you all well however, understand that good ppl somtimes do bad things regardless if they go to church. you have no need to prove anything to or these others. Id encourage you to stop reading these posts!!

People are just trying to get themselves out of trouble by saying the people that didnt have much to do with it had everything to do with it. If your going to tell the story tell the whole story before it gets told on you.

People that claim to be friends and family of the accused that are posting comments on this and other websites should really strongly examine whether or not their comments are helping or hurting the accused.

Besides bad grammar and meaningless platitudes of how great of people the accused are, the general lower class tone does not raise the overall impression that one may associate with those that are accused of these criminal acts.

As a useful example, take the latest post from the person purporting to be related to the accused. Read her post with a hillbilly accent, and then decide if what is said can be viewed positively in a court of law. When someone is accused of a crime, those around them should attempt to not harm the credibility and image of the accused.

I was surprised and shocked to hear that Junior had been arrested. It is hard for me to believe these charges he is facing. I can't help but wonder if he was guilty by association or did Schuyler County's finest make some sort of mistake. His mug shot didn't look too good, but I imagine he was scared to death about then. I will be glad when more info comes out about these crimes because it surely is a puzzle. What about the minor and the girl that people keep referring to on the news and on the street? It can't be that hard to find them, too. Junior, I will continue to pray for you and your family.

thank you sarah for the nice comment you submitted about jr , i really appreciate that - his family , his church & his community all need to come together now to PROVE that he was not involved in this . He really is a good young man & would not destroy or take anything that was not his - he is the type of person that would give rather than receive -- i am so proud of him for that. Hang in there jr we are out here helping you , we love you & your family -- & please all you people that have negative things to say please stay off of this sight because you have no idea what his parents , grandparents , & extended family are going through right now . This is a young man that had plans of joining the military & he still has the right to do that once we prove he was a VICTIM OF GUILT BY ASSOCIATION - i love you jr --

thank you sarah - your comment is much appriciated no one knows that child better than his family , his church , his community & we all need to come together to help his family spiritually get through this & prove that jr was not a part of this - where i live it is guilt by association - & sometimes it is not - however anyone that knows jr knows he would never do anything to destroy someone elses property. He works hard & has always been very respectful of other peoples property.

Quick to point the finger

Posted by Sarah Smiles, missouri - Tuesday, September 01, 2009 at 4:11 p.m.

Well, well arent we just so quick to point the finger at Stanley? Remember we live in the LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE. Which gives us our constitutional right of innocent till proven guilty! Hes a good christian kid, and I agree with the previous statement. He was probably in the wrong place at the wrong time! Stop passing judgement until you know the family and all the details!

not me

Posted by not me kirksville, kirksville, mo - Tuesday, September 01, 2009 at 11:57 a.m.

Just so you know i have never been arrested for stealing a pickup and than burning it. So no it really could not happen to anyone and i hope you are all correct in thinking junior did not have anything to do with it, but it seems odd that they would arrest him without some kind of proof or one of the guilty ones says he was there. I am just glad that my pickup is safe for now.
