LEWIS COUNTY, MO. -- Two northeast Missouri residents were injured in a crash in Lewis County Friday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the crash happened at 4 p.m. on route D, 5 miles south of LaBelle, Mo.

Daniel Rainville, 55, of Bethel, Mo., was southbound on Route D when his vehicle went off the road, struck a ditch and flipped over. Rainville was seriously injured in the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

A passenger in the vehicle, 13-year-old Robert Rainville of Bethel, Mo., also suffered serious injuries. Robert Rainville was taken by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital for treatment.
