NORTHEAST MISSOURI -- A bizarre rash of crimes is plaguing part of the heartland.

Someone is stealing vehicles in Northeast Missouri and setting some of them on fire.

In the past week, a total of six were stolen: one from Kirksville, the other from Schuyler County.

Overnight, thieves stole four vehicles from Queen City: a car, two pickups, and a semi.

A source says one of the pickups and the semi were set on fire on Slaughter Road off Route E just outside Queen City.

A call reporting the fires came in at 2:55 A.M.

The semi was reportedly parked so that it blocked firefighters from being able to get to the other burning car.

A week ago, thieves stole one pickup from Kirksville and one from Worthington. One was recovered in Knox County, the other

found burned in a bean field just outside Worthington.

The investigation into the incidents is ongoing.

Such nonsense, the little terrorist jerks. What else could it be called but terrorism, to the people in the area.
Hope they are apprehended, and that justice is served!
