New troopers assigned to Northeast Missouri

KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Captain John W. Elliott, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, is pleased to announce the assignment of three new troopers to Troop B effective July 10, 2009. 

Each of the new troopers was a member of the 89th Missouri State Highway Patrol Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on July 10, 2009.

Trooper Tyler Mobley is assigned to Zone 6, serving Clark and Scotland counties.  He is a native of Licking, Missouri, and graduated from Licking High School. 

Trooper Mobley attended Hannibal LaGrange College in Hannibal, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in administration of justice.

Trooper Lane Quinn is assigned to Zone 4, serving Putnam and Sullivan counties.  He is a native of Salisbury, Missouri, and graduated from Salisbury High School. 

 Trooper Quinn attended the University of Missouri, in Columbia, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in history.  Prior to his appointment to the Patrol he worked as a data entry operator in the Columbia, Missouri area.

Trooper Seth Rector is assigned to Zone 3, serving Chariton and Linn counties.  He is a native of Macon, Missouri, and graduated from Macon County R-1 School. 

Trooper Rector attended the University of Missouri, in Columbia, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in history.  Prior to his appointment to the Patrol he worked as a recent campaign field director in Columbia, Missouri.
