KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Heartland man was injured in a weekend motorcycle crash in Adair County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the crash happened just after 11 a.m. Sunday on Route B, five miles north of Kirksville. Authorities say 53-year-old Larry Hamilton of Greentop, Mo. was northbound when he went off the road, hit a ditch, and was thrown from his motorcycle.

Hamilton suffered moderate injuries in the crash. He was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Larry was taken to columbia and his injuries are very serious. larry has been wearing a neck brace prior to the crash, which make his injurie very life threatening.
