Police make burglary arrest Watch Video

CLARK COUNTY, MO -- The following is a press release from the Clark County Sherrif's Office.

On Jun 7, 2009 in the early AM, EG's Convenience Store, inside the Clark County, just east of the Scotland County line, along US Hwy 136 was burglarized by 3 young white males. Suspects were armed with a baseball bat and a loaded Marlin .22 Cal. Rifle w/scope.
 
Over $5,000 in cash and merchandise were reported missing. Some of the items have been recovered and the 2 weapons involved in the incident have been seized. We are still trying to locate two neon lighted beer signs, miscellaneous merchandise, and approximately $700 in cash.
 
Two  suspects have been arrested, Todd Michel Stewart, age 18 and a juvenile, age 15, both are white males, known to reside in the area of Luray, Missouri.

Todd Stewart is presently being held in the Clark County Detention Center on 2nd Degree Burglary and Theft/Stealing (Value of property is $500 or more). The juvenile was turned over to the Clark County Juvenile Officer and transported to Kirksville, Missouri.
 
The 3rd suspect, Joshua James Brown, age 20, is still at large and has an active warrant in Clark County Missouri for 1st degree Burglary and Theft/Stealing (Value of property is $500 or more). 

Brown should be considered armed and dangerous and should be traveling in a blue, 1988 Dodge 600 SE, Iowa license 151SWM. Brown's last known address is Donnellson, Iowa.  Brown is known to spend time at Bonaparte, Iowa and Luray, Missouri.
