NEW CAMBRIA, MO. -- A Heartland man is behind bars after authorities say he stole anhydrous ammonia.
Macon County authorities tell KTVO they saw 47-year-old Gregory Siemens of New Cambria, Mo., driving out of the MFA anhydrous ammonia tank yard in New Cambria at 7 a.m. Saturday. Officers followed Siemens to his home where he was identified as a suspect in an ongoing investigation of anhydrous ammonia theft.
Siemens is charged with three counts of theft of anhydrous ammonia, three counts of possession of anhydrous ammonia in an unapproved container and three counts of driving while revoked. Siemens is currently being held in the Macon County Jail on a $50,000 cash only arrest warrant.
Authorities say additional charges are pending.
