REVERE, MO. -- The Clark County Sheriff's Department in Kahoka is still trying to nail down who the suspects are in a string of arson fires in Revere.

The most recent was a fire set at the vacant Revere Community Church on April 23, 2009.

That blaze was discovered before it could do extensive damage.

Sheriff Paul Gaudette told KTVO Monday he's trying to set up lie-detector tests for a handful of possible suspects: a couple of juveniles and a couple of adults.

Gaudette said his department has no actual physical evidence connecting anyone to the blazes.

Since December 2008, there have been seven suspicious structure fires in and around Revere.

The buildings have all been vacant, and most of them burned to the ground.

So far, no arrests have been made.

You involved Quinton? You sound a little paranoid.

Huh?

Why would the sheriff think anyone would voluntarily take an unreliable polygraph test that is inadmissible in a court of law? (State v. Biddle) Are we now required to prove our innocence? For that matter why does he think anyone would even talk to the police when they aren't legally required to do so?
