On 04/21/2009, police arrested Randy G. Allen, 47 of Macon, for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of South Hudson Street. Allen was processed at the Macon Police Department for processing and was later released pending a municipal court date.
On 04/22/2009, police arrested Shawn R. Davis, 21 of Macon, for felony possession of a controlled substance. Davis was transported to the Macon Police Department for processing and was later taken to the Macon County Jail where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges. Charges were later filed and bond was set at $5,000.00 (10% allowed). The arrest came after police were performing preventive patrol in the Macon Lake area after park hours.
On 04/23/2009, police arrested Chadrick W. Gladbach, 27 of Atlanta, for driving while license revoked. Gladbach was processed at the Macon Police Department and later released pending a municipal court date. The arrest came after a traffic stop in the
are of Pine and Madison Streets.
On 04/22/2009, police arrested, Matthew S. Wells, 23 of Macon, for endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest came after a police officer made a traffic stop involving Wells operating a moped on a city street while allowing a small child to stand in front of him on the moped. Wells was processed at the Macon Police Department and was later released pending a municipal court date.
On 04/23/2009, victim reported that a theft had occurred sometime during the night time hours in the 1800 block of Robin Hood Ln. It was reported that several items including tools and construction work gear were missing from the interior of the victim's vehicle. Upon further investigation, police recovered the missing items and arrested Shawn R. Davis, 21 of Macon and Ricky A. Miller, 20 of Excello, for one count of stealing. Both Davis and Miller were processed at the Macon Police Department on 04/24/2009. Both suspects were then released pending a municipal court date.
On 04/24/2009, police arrested John R. Stewart, 58 of Macon, for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. Stewart was transported to the Macon Police Department for processing and was later released pending a municipal court date. The arrest came after a traffic stop in the area of Highway 63 and South Rollins Street.
On 05/02/2009, police arrested Nathan B. Gorman, 27 of Macon, for driving while intoxicated, careless & imprudent driving, driving without a valid license and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Gorman was transported to the Macon Police Department for processing and was later released pending a municipal court date. The arrest came after a traffic stop at the intersection of Sunset Hills Drive and Bowzer Road.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
