KANSAS CITY, MO. -- Two hearings in two days for A.T. Still University President Dr. James McGovern.

McGovern, who's been on a medical leave of absence since last month, is charged with driving while intoxicated following his November arrest by Kansas City police.

He's also accused of refusing to take a Breathlyzer test.

McGovern was in court in Kansas City Wednesday where his DWI case was pushed back until May 9th.

That was his second and final continuance, so at May's court appearance, he will either have to enter a plea or go to trial.

On Thursday, McGovern had a hearing before the Department of Revenue regarding the Breathalyzer incident.

A trial date on that matter has been set for May 15th in Jackson County Circuit Court.

During McGovern's absence, former Truman State University president, Jack Magruder is filling in as "acting president" of ATSU.
