Employees of the Macon County Public Water Supply District #1, Macon Municipal Utilities and Macon Police Department offered a way for area citizens to safely dispose of their unused prescriptions and expired over-the-counter medications by organizing a local drop-off during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
