-- Entrance to the Wal-Mart Super Center in Kirksville

-- terrible on Bradford street, from Jefferson to normal in Kirksville

-- On the corner of Overbrook Dr & Center Road is in very bad shape, needs to be fix in Kirksville

-- The entire block of Davis Street starting at Illinois north to Buchanan in Kirksville

-- the northbond lane on the most recently paved part of north lincoln in kirksville

-- The Corner of Illinois and Centennial in Kirksville. Where Illinois dead ends and then travel north on Centennial. The road is full of water and the street looks like it has been hit by a bomb. To many pot holes to count. Come by and take a look for yourself. If you don't slow down to a crawl you might rattle your teeth out of your head or at the least chip a tooth.

-- Ottumwa on Mill St between the Jefferson St bridge and the County Road Dept. You cannot drive through there without hitting one!

-- Potholes there is no pavement ILLINOIS ST.& CENTENIAL ST. in Kirksville also Centenial ST & MARTHA ST. . They better start up the asphalt plant just for those two places don't go that way U can't miss em.

-- in Kirksville, Davis street between Illinois and Hickory is so horrible, I wish the city or MoDOT would just tear it up and repave the street. There is only one little island only a few inches wide left of the road in one place, and it tears up vehicles.

-- Fible Street between east orchard and line i would say is the worst road in town by far!!! Kirksville

-- 503 North Davis all the way south to Illinois Street in Kirksville. This stretch of street is competely gone!!!!!! There are very large potholes one beside the next and some are very deep. They look okay when filled with water.

-- There is one very deep pot hole by my home, and the street is completely covered with deep pot holes on the East end of Overbrook Drive in Kirksville.

--  the north side, beside Genos 70 club, North first street and Mc Pherson. Kirksville

-- The South entrance to Preferred Family on Jamison Street in Kirksville gets more destructive to vehicles every year and while they have thrown the cold patch down for this year, I still won't drive on the Northbound side of the street if I don't have to past that area.

-- On East Pennsylvania in front of the new Hospice building. Go take a look, but be careful. Can you imagine the ambulance going over this place? Ottumwa

--  Marion and Illinois. Pothole showing metal rods-Kirksville

-- Pothole on New Street near Cottonwood . A series of potholes getting deeper by the minute and now connecting-Kirksville

-- I believe that someone need to look at Clayton Court. There are Potholes plus the street is torn up from digging out a snow plow that got stuck after the last snow storm. There is a real mess that was left after the plow was remmoved. I feel that someone needs to come out and clean up the mess.. Also Dogwood Lane in south Kirksville is a terrible mess and has been for a long time.-Kirksville

-- Jefferson Street, at the corner of Baltimore, on the east bound lanes- has almost lost the entire turn arrow on the ground. It's pretty deep- well to me- I'd say about 6 inches. It is bad because people come flying through there to catch the light.- Kirksville

-- on north davis between bucannan and cottonwood, Kirksville

-- If you ever have been down Sharon st. located at New Street. This one little block is riddled with pot holes, and it's only been getting worse for the last 2-3 years. It all started with a new pavement construction that never was completed. Ever since then the street is a nightmare.- Kirksville

-- Overbrook Dr. has numerous potholes as you drive along it. They're almost impossible to avoid.-Kirksville

-- this is a pothole near a construction site putting up a apt house.-Kirksville

KV pothole 4210

-- corner of main and pierce. a pothole in a pothole-Kirksville

-- Lincoln gets used alot so people don't have to fo throught the traffic on north 63. There are many pothole and the road is coming apart. It also is a street that alot of poeple walk on. It was be really nice if the city would have put a sidewalk on this street at least from Rt. P to Bob White.-Kirksville

-- The potholes in front of my house are the deepest and the biggest in all of Kirksville. Drivers have driven into other peoples yards to avoid driving over them. There is no way to avoid them except to drive around the block to enter my driveway. My neighbor can't even do that. Overbrook Dr. by Baltimore has also developed some bad potholes, making our stretch of road the worst. The city can't even do a cold mix fix. We'll have to have major work on our street.

-- S. Cottage Grove Ave. just south of intersection with Normal Street. I have been thinking of puting a "no fishing" sign in the pothole!- Kirksville

-- Intersection of Centennial and Illinois is like driving through swiss cheese with craters 10 ft. deep. They've tried to fill the holes multiple times, but so far nothing has worked more than a week. The entire street of Centennial is like off roading.- Kirksville

-- The potholes are located on what used to be State Hwy 15. It is now a county road leading up to the stop sign heading north at Milton. The holes are terrible. They could easily do damage to rims, tires, alignment, etc. They only way to miss them is to jump in the other lane. If oncoming traffic makes it impossible to do then you better slow to a stop to ease into them. They are at least 8 inches deep and 12 inches wide.- Memphis, Mo.

-- This block-long area of potholes is the worst one I've come across. The potholes are huge, and stretch completely across the street, leaving no room to miss them by driving around them. It is hazardous, since it forces drivers to the wrong side of the road, often into oncoming traffic next to the school.- Ottumwa

--
I wish I could mention all of the potholes and their locations as there are so many. Some are at the ends of streets, middle of streets a couple are almost the full length from one corner to the other. Pierce st. from Baltimore west is full of pothole straight down to the hospital. (On both sides) with the worst being at the Baltimore and Pierce corner at Lincoln Square shops. The second for Pierce is at the corner of Marion and Pierce St. The other that is so long and mean is on High St. North is from Hickory St. down to Cottonwood St. The people that drive our streets pay taxes to keep our roads in good condition. I can't say that is happening. I drive over quite alot of Kirksville in a weeks time and am constantly having to do a dance in order to stay out of harms way.- Kirksville

-- All water drains from Kings Road down to Queens and near Bishop, Pawn or Rook intersections are the worst. Not enough drains on Queens and this is bad all the time. Kirksville

-- Pennsylvania Avenue, Ottumwa, IA- I travel this steet everyday because I work for a healthcare facility located on that street. Everyday we drive over nasty potholes (they are all the way up and down the street) that the City of Ottumwa has assured us that are being fixed (winter as been over for about 3 months now). I think the City of Ottumwa needs to invest in repaving the whole street instead of patching holes; I'm sorry you just cannot patch patches that have been fixed previously. It is frustrating to see our taxes dollars being wasted like that. What is even more aggravating is I hear stories from families that have are having their sick loved ones being transported by ambulance on that street and the potholes are so bad that it nearly bounces the patients off the portable beds inside the ambulance. That's seem real secure and safe!!!! I think the City of Ottumwa Steets Department needs to keep in mind that they are in charge of keeping the streets clean, safe, and mantainable for everyone involved. Would you want your loved one being transported like that????

-- These are located on West Gardner st. In front of dogwood trl. court. they are on both sides of the road, The City has been Asked repeatedly to come and fix these. one person who lives by them says she doesnt want them reapaired because it slows down the speeders maybe a speed bump is needed I am tired of having my car bumped around and I do think if at somepoint I would have damage from them I would be turning it over to the City of Kirksville. These really need to be repaired or the road needs to be resurfaced. We Just Need The City To Do Something. Kirksville

-- South Halliburton Street from Jefferson St. to Patterson St. There is one hole in front of the old Greenwood school that will tear your car up. If you drive in the middle of the street you can avoid a few but since it is not 1 way its a little difficult., Kirksville

-- directly in front of 2257 samantha . Sinkhole in road 6 x 6 ft. ( Getting bigger by the day .) Big enough to swallow up a volkswagon., Ottumwa

-- My mother lives in the senior housing in Queen City. The drive that leads into the apartments is undescribable. The pavement is tore up with big deep holes and you have to drive 5 MPh so you won't tear your car up. I do not see how those elderly people can stand living there. It is pathetic. It has been like that all year and they haven't done one thing about it . Also ,with all of the rain this year you had to have hip boots to get to your apartment because of all the standing water in them. From what I understand it does not do any good to complain. I think that organization needs exposed. Seniors should not have to live like that.

-- How about *all* of Patterson street from 1st Street to Baltimore?! I can't imagine how pathetic this must seem to incoming Truman and ATSU students. It would probably be smoother if it was just removed and we could drive on the mud. C'mon people, lets make Kirksville a better place to live!

-- Oh, my goodness! I am so happy to see that others are as UN-done about potholes as I am. I am new to the Kirksville area as of last March. Kirksville has been very welcoming and is a great place to live. The only complaint I have is THE POTHOLES! I watched for several weeks as road crews built brand new sidewalks along Baltimore Street, in front of Rotary Park, when other streets throughout the city were in dire need of repair. I simply did not understand the urgency of getting the sidewalk installed prior to making sure the citizens of Kirksville had manageable roadways on which to travel. My most recent experience with potholes was this past weekend when I accidentally turned too soon onto the street just before the Comfort Inn entrance. For heaven's sake! I bounced around and dodged mammoth potholes in fear that I would fall into one, never to be seen again!

-- corrigan street novinger missouri half of tube washed away by rain and the road with deep ruts and part of road still closed caused by a building that burnt in 2006 that still is not cleaned up.

-- there is a big pothole on Laharpe between franklin and first street.I hope they can get out there and fix it's getting deeper, can't avoid falling in it .If there is not traffic coming you can drive on the wrong side of the road. thanks Kirksville

-- there is a large drainage tube for storm water runoff that runs under Rt. P near Wal-Mart's back entrance and the Extension center. The State Highway Dept. has filled this crater with more asphalt at least three diiferent times this spring and summer. Each time it sinks again and they refill it. The tube under the road is becoming egg-shaped, not sure if that comes from all the rain we've received or the added weight of the additional asphalt or both. While everyone realizes times are tough for even the state of Missouri, doesn't it seem logical to replace tube now before someone is injured or worse when this tube collapses which it seems well on its way to doing.-Kirksville

-- Bone jarring sink hole on westbound "Macon co. J" at the west side of old 63., Macon Co. Mo.

-- The whole road from hwy 63 to Hedgpath is to the dangerous point. Small cars can not make it to my house after a rain. Flooding is a huge problem. Winters leave us stranded for days at a time. The ambulance had to come get me in April and could not go over 20 miles an hour because of the poor conditions of the road. Very frustrating for them and made the trip so miserable for me they had to medicate me more than usual.- Kirksville

-- The entire Kellwood neighborhood. The road is just bloody awful. There is literally a little under a 4th of a mile that requires strategic driving and constant braking -Kirksville

-- YOU HAVE TOW DRIVE INTO AND OUT OF IT, 402 steer creek way, Kirksville

-- Dogwood Lane, formerly known as old highway 63, south of Kirksville. The road is nothing but potholes some a foot deep. We have talked to the county commissoner and all they can say is they don't have the money to fix it or they dont have the equipment to fix it, but yet when there has been fatal accidents or gas leaks along highway 63 this was always used as a alternate route. (not to mention the fact that all the residents are stil yet charged the same amount of road and bridge tax). Within the next several months this old road will be handleing 3x the amount of traffic due to the bypass, but yet nobody wants to preserve the old highway

-- There is a nearby car wash, oil changing place and lots of traffic cutting thru to Green St. on this road. The location is the 100 block of East Burton between North Franklin St. and Green St. Every year when they finally get around to doing something about these potholes, they just fill them with some gravel. This only last for at most a week with all the traffic. The city needs to close this section and fix them properly for once instead of having to fill them 1-2 times a year. I live on this street and the road tears up my jeep. Kirksville
