Joni Elliott- Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home

Joni Elliott, 28, of Queen City, MO (formally of Unionville, MO) passed away suddenly due to injuries incurred from a vehicle accident on October 17, 2012.

Joni Elliott was born on September 3, 1984 in Unionville, MO.  Joni was raised by her grandparents, Leroy and Lillian Elliott, before she went to Trenton, MO to be with her father, Chancie and wife Amanda.  Joni Graduated from Trenton High School in 2003 and was a proud mother of two beautiful children, Erica and Christopher Hayden.  She had just begun to scrapbook her special memories of her young children. Joni was a hard worker and talented poet even to be publicized.  She had a large collection of cows and loved music.  Joni’s daughter, Erica, graciously inherited this love of singing. Joni was baptized as a young woman and was a member of the Broadlawn Baptist Church.  Even though her life was short, she loved and enjoyed her time with her children and family to the fullest.

In addition to her children and father, Joni Elliott is survived by her grandparents, Leroy and Lillian Elliott of the home; brothers, James “Rudy Elliott of Unionville, MO and Jeremy Elliott of Trenton, MO; and sisters, Marquetta Clark of Wisconsin, Jenny Gillespie and husband Brian of Lancaster, MO, and Faith Elliott of Trenton, MO.  Joni is also survived by her great grandmother, Alice Cooley; an aunt, Clara Johnson; uncle, Clinton Tingley; boyfriend, Zachary L. Robbins; cousins, Lacey, Lana, James, David, Larry, Jennifer Dorsey’s family and husband Cory and Evelyn, Billy and children.  A special friend, Alice “Midge” Tingley also survives as well as her mother, Tara Zander.

Joni was preceded in death by her grandparents, Max and Ruby Mulvaney and great grandparents, James and Lena Elliott.
