KIRKSVILLE, MO -- The Kirksville Arts Center building is getting a new facade, and the project includes some artistic help from the community.

The Kirksville Arts Association is partnering with artist, Connie Greany, to resurface the front of the arts center building.

The project will include a mosaic of tiles painted by Kirksville citizens, including students from Kirksville schools.

The theme of the project is called "The heART of Kirksville."

The work on the front of the building has been going on since Monday.

Tile decorating will run from March 18 - March 29. The schools will be doing it all next week, and a public decorating event will be taking place on March 21st between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
