KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Wednesday, the Adair County 9-1-1 Joint Services Board conducted their regular meeting.

Representatives from the Adair County Ambulance District, Kirksville Police Department, Adair County Sheriff's, City of Kirksville and Rural Fire Chiefs were present. In the meeting they approved the 2013 budget.

Chris Killday with Adair County Central Dispatch said there was nothing new about this meeting, but the approval of the budget.

"I presented the budget to the service board again today," said Killday. "It was already approved, the only thing i had to change in it was, I had to send two of my dispatchers to training, I couldn't get them into the training this year, so I added 13,000 dollars from this years budget into next years budget of my training and the board approved it."

Killday said the $13,000 added to the budget was already in there when the budget was sent out to the public.

In addition, the budget noted there will be a $15,632 personnel increase. That's a 6 percent increase of each contributing agency.

A motion was made and seconded to approve the 2013 budget.
