OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Tickets are quickly selling out for a concert and fundraiser that benefits out country's wounded warriors.

The event Wednesday evening will be held at the Bridge View Center starting at 5 p.m. A custom-made motorcycle designed by Roger Borror at Wapello County Customs, will be raffled off, with proceeds benefitting the Wounded Warrior program.

Wounded Warrior supplies returning soldiers with everything they need to get back on their feet when returning from overseas, from prosthetics to wheelchairs to simple kits with necessities. Borror said neither him nor his father could serve due to medical reasons, so supporting this great cause is his way of supporting our troops.

"That's why it was dear to my heart, when they come back, they're sacrificing their lives and their families for our freedom, so this is the reason I wanted to give back to our country and try to get something good going on," Borror said.

Two military vehicles are parked right out front at the Bridge View Center, along with the Ottumwa Fire Department's massive American flag, so guests to the event will feel the patriotism right away.

"I appreciate everything [Roger] has done for us, and I'm going to appreciate it even more seeing everyone come out," said Staff Sergeant Derek Miller. "It's great to see a community come together to support the military."

Tickets are still available, and can be purchased at the door Wednesday for $25.
