Memphis, MO - As the weather springs forward, the Scotland County Fairgrounds preps for this years events.

With over 100 kids in their Future Farmers of America and 4-H programs, the Scotland County Community can't wait to get back to the fairgrounds. In just over a month, a mud-drag will kick off events at the fairgrounds.

"One thing exciting about our fairgrounds I think is we have a good family oriented togetherness type of place with the 4-H livestock and the FFA kids and we have good family-type events in the grandstands too. We have some motor events to crash 'em up, bang 'em up also," said fairgrounds VP, Chris Mongomery.

The annual summer fair has some exciting news, this summer will include a 10-ride carnival along with the usual music animals, races, food and more. This year's fair will be from July 8-13.
