The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information on a subject or his vehicle. In the past week there have been multiple reports of a suspicious male and a white Ford Econoline van with a horizontal red stripe. There have been reports from Riverside, Winfield and rural Wayland describing the same van.

In one instance, an 11- year-old girl walking home turned around to see the van following her, when she stopped the van sped through a stop sign, quickly leaving the area, in another the van was seen driving very slowly while children were getting off the bus from school.

The sheriff’s office asks that anyone with information on the subject, who’s described as a 5’7 bearded man in his mid-50s, or the vehicle to contact their office: 319-385-2712.
