KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A northeast Missouri teen who pleaded guilty to shooting another teen has learned his fate.

Tyler Treece, 19, of Glenwood, Mo., entered the guilty plea in October to charges of first degree assault and shooting into a motor vehicle.

Treece, who could have received up to life in prison, was sentenced to ten years by Circuit Judge Russell Steele on Tuesday.
