“Reminiscences by Alice” will be presented on Monday, October 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Iowa Wesleyan College Chapel Auditorium.
The one-woman show will be presented by Lynn Rymarz of Barrington, Illinois. Rymarz is an author and story-teller who brings historic American women to life. She has written the show, featuring Alice Bird Babb.
Babb is one of P.E.O.’s seven founders. She wrote the organization’s first oath and first Constitution. She lived in Mount Pleasant until 1906.
Rymarz gave “A Portrayal of Franc Roads Elliott” on the Iowa Wesleyan campus in April 2011.
The program is open to the public at no charge. There will be a reception immediately following the lobby of the Chapel.
P.E.O. was founded at Iowa Wesleyan College in 1869.
