OTTUMWA, IA -- Air Force Lt. Col. Joann C. Frye has assumed command of 633rd Inpatient Operations Squadron at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
Frye has served in the military for 24 years.
She is the daughter of Ed and Ann Ruddy of East Locust Street, Ottumwa.
Frye graduated in 1985 from Ottumwa High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 1989 from Northeast Missouri State University, Kirksville, Missouri. She earned a master's degree in 1996 from Touro University International, Cypress, California.
