KIRKSVILLE, MO -- For those out there looking for a new job or a change in careers, you will get the opportunity to explore what's out there in the job market.
The Missouri Career Center along with the Kirksville Chamber of Commerce and K-REDI are teaming up for the second NEMO Job Fair this year taking place on the NEMO Fairgrounds in Kirksville from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16.
There will 40 employers ranging from manufacturing, health services, education, communications, and the retail industries to take resume and applications.
Organizers want jobseekers to be ready.
"Mainly be prepared. I would come dresses for an interview in case you are interviewed on the spot. I would be ready to complete an application. Have your resume if you already have one. Come alone. Don't bring kids. Good handshake and smile. Be professional," said Cathy Collop of the Missouri Career Center.
Collop said that the last job fair in April was the best one yet due to the high quality of jobseekers that were ready to go to work and are hoping for the same results this time around.
The Missouri Career Center offers classes to help prepare jobseekers for the job hunt.
