NOVINGER, MO -- The Annual Shoop, Shott, Motter and Novinger reunion will be held at the Novinger, Missouri fire station on Sunday, October 21, 2012 beginning at 1:00 p.m..
The reunion is now being held on the third Sunday of October, and all friends and descendants of the Shoop, Shott, Motter and Novinger families are urged to attend. These were all original families who settled in the Novinger community area during the “glory years” of the NE Missouri coal mining industry
Attendees are reminded to bring two (or more) covered dishes and table service for your friends and relatives in attendance. Drinks are furnished.
The meeting will consist of the annual business meeting and election of officers, as well as visiting and reminiscing with friends and relatives.
Those attending are also urged to bring any old family photos and other memorabilia.
The event was held last year on Sunday, October 18, 2011, at the same location.
The Novinger Fire Station is located on Missouri Route 6 at the east edge of Novinger, Missouri.
