Margaret Joan Wever, 72 of Kirksville passed away Friday (Sept. 7, 2012) at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
The daughter of John D. and Emma Waneta (Ewing) Newcomer, she was born August 14, 1940 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Jake Wever and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her father and one brother.
Margaret is survived by her mother, Emma Waneta Newcomer of Greentop, MO; two sons, Johnny Wever of Kirksville and David Wever of Dukum, IA; one daughter, Nita Wever of Dukum, IA; one sister, Linda Routh of Summerville, MO; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret grew up in Greentop and attended the Hazel Creek School. She lived all her life in the Kirksville and Greentop area. She worked as a nurses aid.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 12, 2012) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hazel Creek Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the
