KIRKSVILLE, MO -- If you just got an eReader and have no idea were to start with it, one Heartland library is here to help.

The Adair County Public Library received a grant of $2500 through the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The library received the grant to purchase a variety of eReaders such as the Kindle Touch, Kindle Fire, Nook Simple Touch, Nook Tablet, Sony Reader, and the iPad 3.

The library staff is hosting training sessions throughout July and August for anyone who has questions about how to use the eReaders or who just want to learn.

"We've had questions about eReaders since they came out. It's about who knows the most about it and who can help people with their questions. A lot of people come here for help, and we're glad to help them," said Kara Drury of the Adair County Public Library. "It's really just what do you want to learn. If you want to play on it to see if you want to buy one or learn to download and eBook from our system...that's what we're here for , and we can help you with that. It's really anything people want to know."

The library has a Missouri State Certified eReader Trainer who will be hosting the sessions.

The training is free, and you must sign up ahead of time. You can call the library at (660) 665-6038 for more information.

Here are the training dates and times:

Wednesday July 18 1-2 p.m.

Thursday July 26 10-11 a.m.

Tuesday August 7 6-7 p.m.

Saturday August 11 2-3 p.m.

Friday August 17 4-5 p.m.
