Veronica Elizabeth Darling, 23, of Unionville, MO, passed away suddenly at the Putnam County Memorial Hospital following complications with asthma.
Veronica was born on January 11, 1989 in Iowa City, IA. She graduated from Putnam County High School and always dreamed of becoming a teacher for disabled children. Veronica liked to collect character items such as Scooby Doo, Taz Manian Devil, and Mickey Mouse. She enjoyed Monday Night Pro Wrestling with Stone Cold Steve Austin as her favorite wrestler. Veronica held a special place in her heart for animals. Veronica would proudly sing her favorite song, “God Bless the USA” and even enjoyed listening to karaoke and country music. Being in the presence of children was Veronica’s greatest joy. She will be greatly missed.
Veronica Darling is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Jarvis of the home; sister Comissa Darling of Kirksville, MO; and brothers Jonathan and Lyle Triska of Brighten, IA. Veronica is also survived by an adopted sister, Charity Durbin and her uncle David “sow” Durbin both of Unionville, MO. Many uncles and aunts also survive Veronica.
Veronica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willard and Roxie Williams and a grandmother, Yavon Darling.
Services for Veronica included a private family visitation on Saturday, June 30, 2012.
