KIRKSVILLE,MO -- Kirksville High School announces that nine students auditioned for All State Band/Jazz Band in Columbia, MO which was held on Saturday, Dec.3. Those who auditioned were: Austin Motley, Forrest Beck, Kaitlin Fitzgerald, Catie Shuey, Nathaniel Kennard, Ethan Murphy, Nell Davis and Geordan Beck,Sam Schwegler.
Junior Austin Motley was selected as 2nd chair trombone in the All State Band; Senior Forrest Beck was selected as 2nd chair french horn in the All State Orchestra and Senior Katie Fitzgerald received the honor of being named to the Honorable Mention Band on clarinet.
