Jason had many interests, hobbies, and proud accomplishments. Beginning in the sixth grade and through his junior year at Kirksville Senior High School, Jason was a member of the Concert and Marching Bands, where he initially played the trumpet and later switched to the tuba. While in high school, Jason was actively involved in the youth group at the First Baptist Church and volunteered there as needed and without hesitation. During his high school years, Jason developed a passion for computers and electronics, quickly becoming the person everyone went to for help on their computer. He built his own computer and was very proud to show it off to his family and friends. Jason also enjoyed playing on his X-Box and spending time with his online friends (AKA McFatty).
Every year, Jason looked forward to spending time on Uncle Mike’s farm preparing for hunting season and hunting with Dad and Uncle Mike. Jason loved being outdoors and even developed a passion for gardening last summer, where he proudly started his own garden. Jason loved traveling each year with Mom and Roy and visited many historical places, several states, and both oceans. Jason was especially fascinated with the history of the Civil War and he would spend numerous hours researching and studying anything and everything surrounding the Civil War.
Jason was a very kind-hearted, caring person and was always ready to make someone smile. Jason was loved by many and will always be remembered.
