Trial date scheduled in boating accident case

A trial date has been scheduled for two men charged with involuntary manslaughter and boating while intoxicated in the fatal collision of two boats on the Mississippi River near Burlington last spring.

Patrol Helicopter team rescues two from rising flood waters

Friday, April 19, 2013 Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol announced Friday that troopers using the Patrol’s helicopter equipped with a short haul rescue line rescued two turkey hunters who became stranded by rising flood waters in Texas County.
