Davis County looking to assess local health needs

OTTUMWA -- Davis County public health officials are asking for help improving medical services in the county.

The public health department and the Davis County Hosptial have teamed up to create a survey that will assess the county's health needs.

The survey asks respondents a variety of questions, including how often they use the county's medical facilities. 

Resident are also asked to rate specific services, like mental health, school nurses and outpatient care.

The results of the survey will be shared with the community at a town hall meeting at the hospital on April 10.

The deadline to complete the survey is March 26.
